Gymnastics on Zeetius
Zeetius gives gymnastics organisers, clubs and federations one place to run their competitions, gymnasts and judges. Organisers publish artistic, rhythmic and trampoline events, take entries by level and age group and plan rotations and judges panels. Scores are entered live as each routine is judged and followed on the Zeetius live score page, while Zeetius Academy and Zeetius Federation look after coaching, members and rankings.

Disciplines and apparatus
Gymnastics competitions are organised by discipline and apparatus. In artistic gymnastics, women compete on vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor, and men compete on floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars and horizontal bar. Each apparatus is scored separately, and the scores can be combined into an all-around result and a team result.
Rhythmic gymnastics is performed on a floor area with hand apparatus such as the hoop, ball, clubs and ribbon, by individual gymnasts or by groups performing together. Trampoline gymnastics covers individual and synchronised trampoline, and many federations also run tumbling and double mini-trampoline in the same programme.
On Zeetius, the discipline, the apparatus contested, the categories and the competition phases are set by the organiser for each event. Club, regional and national programmes often use their own levels and grades, so the structure of a competition follows your rules rather than a fixed template.
Entries and categories
A gymnastics competition starts with a listing and an entry list. Zeetius Tournaments publishes a page for each event with its dates, venue, disciplines, categories and rules, takes entries and payments online and checks eligibility as gymnasts register, so the organiser is not matching club entry forms to payments in the week before the competition.
Gymnastics categories combine age group, gender and level. A single competition might hold several age bands within each of a federation's grades, alongside separate events for individuals, teams and groups. These categories are configurable for each event, and each one keeps its own entry list, running order and results.
Most gymnastics is entered by clubs rather than by individual gymnasts. A club can enter its squad and its teams together, and because Zeetius Federation holds each gymnast's membership and age, every entry can be checked against the gymnast's current registration and category before the running order is drawn up.
Scheduling and judges
A gymnastics competition runs in sessions and rotations. Gymnasts are placed in groups that move from one apparatus to the next, so every group competes on every apparatus once and each apparatus is in use throughout a rotation. A large event runs several sessions in a day, each with its own warm-up, march-in and rotations.
In Zeetius, the session plan, the groups and the order in which they rotate around the apparatus are set by the organiser. Clubs can be kept together or spread across groups, and a gymnast entered in more than one category is not placed in two sessions at the same time, so the day can be planned and published before the first warm-up.
Gymnastics is a judged sport, and every apparatus needs its own panel. Judges are accredited, nominated and allocated to each apparatus and session in Zeetius Tournaments and Zeetius Federation, and the composition of each panel, such as the number of difficulty and execution judges, is configurable for the level of the competition.
Live scoring and results
Gymnastics scores at most levels combine two parts. A difficulty score rewards the content of the routine, and an execution score starts from ten and falls with every deduction for form and technique. The two are added together, and penalties such as stepping out of bounds or exceeding a time limit are taken off the total. Many club and grade programmes use their own scoring rules, so scoring is configurable for each event.
Larger championships are structured in phases. A qualification round decides who reaches the team final, the all-around final and the apparatus finals, and each final is a fresh competition with its own results. On Zeetius, the phases an event uses and how many gymnasts or teams progress to each final are set by the organiser.
Gymnastics on Zeetius is scored live on the Zeetius multi-sport scoresheet, which is set up for the event's apparatus, routines and score components. Scores are entered at the judges' table as each panel's mark is given, and gymnasts' families, clubs and coaches follow the competition at zeetius.com/live/livescore, filtered by sport. Once confirmed, the same scores become the official results by category and apparatus, with a certificate for every gymnast generated in bulk.
Clubs and coaching
Gymnastics clubs develop their gymnasts over many years, from recreational classes and pre-school groups through to competitive squads training several sessions a week. Zeetius Academy manages gymnasts, squads, training plans, attendance and assessments, so a head coach can see each gymnast's progress through the skills and levels and plan the next term from real records.
Fees, coach payroll and expense claims sit in the same system as the coaching, which matters for a club running dozens of recreational classes alongside its squads. Parents see their own child's attendance, assessments and fees, and nothing else, while coaches record sessions from the mobile app in the gym instead of copying notes afterwards.
Zet AI answers questions about a club's own data, such as which gymnasts have trained most consistently this term or which squad is due its next assessment. Clubs and coaches can also list in the Zeetius Sports Directory, where parents looking for gymnastics classes nearby can find them.
Members, rankings and events
A gymnastics federation registers gymnasts, clubs, coaches and judges, and keeps them current season after season. Zeetius Federation holds one record for every member, with renewals, transfers, membership cards and a complete history, and fees are paid online through secure payment gateways with renewal reminders sent by email and SMS.
Across a season, results become rankings. Zeetius Federation prepares rank lists from real results by discipline, level and age group, which is how a federation tracks progression between grades or builds a selection list for national squads, and each ranking can be traced back to the competitions that produced it.
National championships bring gymnasts, coaches, judges and guests together for several days. Zeetius Connect accredits them online before they arrive and manages accommodation, meals and transport, with QR validation for entry and coupons, and Ztream by Zeetius can stream the competition with graphics, interviews and highlights for families who cannot travel.
